At Redwood, we believe in the transformative power of literacy. Our mission is clear: to provide all students facing literacy struggles with the tools they need to reach for their dreams. Regardless of socio-economic background or learning differences, we're dedicated to cultivating hope and restoring confidence in every student who walks through our doors.
Join or Support Redwood's March Madness Read-a-Thon Fundraiser
That's why we're thrilled to announce our March Madness school-wide Read-a-Thon Fundraiser! This exciting event isn't just about reading—it's about coming together as a community to support Redwood and foster a love for reading among our students, teachers, board members, and beyond.
Throughout March, our Redwood Schools homeroom classes will engage in friendly competition, vying to see which class can read the most pages. And it's not just traditional books—graphic novels, audiobooks, class reading time, and even family reading time all count towards our goal.
More than a competition
But beyond the competition, this Read-a-Thon is about so much more. It's about encouraging students to read or listen regularly, expanding their literary horizons, and developing strong reading habits that will benefit them academically and personally.
At Redwood Schools, we're committed to creating a supportive environment where students with dyslexia or other learning differences feel understood, empowered, and successful. And you can be a part of that mission by joining us in raising funds for Redwood Schools.
